About The Position

As Cluster Revenue Manager, you will be responsible for maximising revenue and profitability across our 3 hotels (InterContinental Malta, voco Malta and Holiday Inn Express Hotels Malta) by developing and implementing effective revenue management strategies. While reporting to the Cluster Director of Revenue, you will also be working closely with the General Managers, Commercial teams, Sales, Reservations, and hotel leadership. You will analyse market trends, manage pricing and inventory, and identify opportunities to drive performance across the cluster. You will use data, market insight, and commercial understanding to make informed decisions that maximise room revenue and support the overall business objectives of the hotels.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher education qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, Revenue Management, or a related field.
Previous experience in revenue management within the hotel or hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of hotel revenue management principles, forecasting, pricing, inventory, and distribution.
Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into clear commercial recommendations.
Excellent understanding of hotel KPIs including Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and market performance.
Strong knowledge of hotel distribution channels and revenue management systems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with Managers, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Reservations, and Operations.
Strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable making decisions.

Nice To Haves

Experience managing revenue across multiple hotels or a cluster will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement revenue management strategies across the cluster to maximise occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall hotel profitability.
Monitor demand, booking patterns, market trends, competitor activity, and business performance to identify opportunities and risks.
Review and optimise room rates, restrictions, availability, and inventory across all relevant channels and market segments.
Ensure pricing strategies are aligned with demand, market conditions, business needs, and the positioning of each hotel.
Identify opportunities to maximise revenue during periods of high and low demand through appropriate pricing and inventory strategies.
Work closely with the sales team to ensure revenue strategies support the overall business objectives of each hotel.
Prepare accurate forecasts for occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and revenue across the cluster.
Monitor actual performance against forecast and budget and identify key variances and opportunities.
Support the preparation of annual budgets, business plans, and financial forecasts.
Continuously review forecasts and adjust strategies based on changes in demand, booking pace, market conditions, and business performance.
Provide regular revenue performance updates and recommendations to hotel leadership.
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, and Operations to maximise commercial opportunities across the hotels.
Analyse business mix and market segments to identify opportunities for improving revenue and profitability.
Support the development of group, corporate, leisure, and other segment strategies in line with hotel demand and commercial objectives.
Review promotional activity and packages to ensure they deliver appropriate commercial value.
Identify opportunities to increase direct business and optimise the contribution of different distribution channels.
Support the hotels in achieving their financial and commercial targets.
Monitor the performance and availability of hotel inventory across all relevant distribution channels.
Ensure rates, room availability, restrictions, and other revenue-related information are accurately maintained across systems.
Work with the Reservations and Sales teams to optimise distribution and minimise revenue leakage.
Monitor channel performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce unnecessary distribution costs.
Ensure revenue management systems and tools are effectively used to support decision-making.
Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, occupancy trends, market activity, and other relevant factors affecting hotel performance.
Analyse market intelligence and provide recommendations to ensure the hotels remain competitive.
Monitor changes in demand, events, seasonality, economic conditions, and other external factors that may impact hotel performance.
Share relevant market insights with hotel leadership and commercial teams.
Prepare and present regular revenue reports, performance analysis, forecasts, and recommendations to hotel leadership.
Monitor key performance indicators including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, revenue, booking pace, market share, and channel performance.
Analyse historical and current data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Track performance against budget, forecast, and relevant market benchmarks.
Provide clear and actionable recommendations based on data and commercial insight.
