The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for executing the hotel's catering sales strategy.

Requirements

  • A focus on building relationships and developing connections with clients and hotel department leaders.
  • Desire to grow and contribute.
  • Positive demeanor.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, events, or sales preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and service all catering events on the property.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including corporate, social, and association groups.
  • Develop catering proposals, contracts, and event orders. Respond to client and guest questions.
  • Ensure that all event specifications are met, including food and beverage, décor, audio visual, and staffing.
  • Actively prospect new catering business, seeking to make connections and generate revenue.
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned.
