Cluster Category Manager - Services (Raleigh, NC)
About The Position
We are seeking an outcome-oriented, strategic-thinking Cluster Category Manager to oversee the SERVICES Category in the North America Cluster. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing innovative sourcing strategies, leading impactful projects, and contributing to business growth. As Cluster Category Manager, you will oversee procurement initiatives for the Services Category, ensuring that sourcing strategies are aligned with global objectives while being tailored to meet the unique requirements of local markets. Working closely with internal business stakeholders, together with your team, you will identify innovative solutions, cost optimization opportunities, and synergies across the countries within your cluster, continuously striving for improved efficiency and stronger supplier relationships.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in procurement, ideally within global FMCG organizations or a similar industry
- Experience in managing sourcing strategies and supplier relationships, both directly and in a supervisory capacity
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business or related field
- Business, finance and supplier contracts acumen
- Ability to work under limited supervision, exercise independent judgment and consistently meet deadlines
- Strong command of English language is essential
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally a few times a year
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with marketing and sales departments is considered an asset
- Knowledge of French is an advantage
Responsibilities
- Drive implementation of cluster specific strategies and contribute to global strategy development
- Develop supplier intelligence and optimize supplier pool
- Lead the category team, supporting their development and growth for future opportunities
- Ensure targets achievement, lead cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) with key regional/local suppliers in full coordination with the relevant internal stakeholders.
