The Clubhouse Director is responsible for the overall management and operations of the entire Northern Area Clubhouse, serving as the leader of the staff and primary liaison to families, partners, and the community. The Clubhouse Director is focused on creating and fostering a positive culture for staff while ensuring a safe, fun, and inclusive environment that results in a high quality Club experience for youth. Additionally, the position is responsible for the recruitment and oversight of staff, youth members, volunteers and partners to ensure the Clubhouse is a vibrant and active community asset. This dynamic position requires someone who can lead and activate the full potential of their team, collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders, and coordinating schedules/budgets. Additionally the role hires, supervises and trains staff. The Director handles personnel issues in collaboration with HR, manages the facility, actively builds cohesive relationships with program staff, community partners, families, donors, volunteers, and administration. This individual will develop and implement a plan to increase and/or maintain the Club’s daily attendance by focusing on membership recruitment, retention, and building the Clubhouse’s presence in the community. This position will work closely with the Program Manager and program team to schedule and coordinate activities for preschool, afterschool/summer camp, teens, sports, and STEAM. This position reports to the Senior Area Director and will work collaboratively with the BGCWPA leadership team to advance organizational priorities at the Clubhouse.
