Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada (BGCSNV) is looking for candidates for an Assistant Clubhouse Director at our Donald Reynolds Clubhouse (2980 Robindale Road, Henderson) who supports the Clubhouse Director and provides direct, day-to-day supervision of Clubhouse Staff and programs within the Clubhouse facility. The Assistant Clubhouse Director is responsible for overseeing the delivery of a broad range of core programs within a designated Clubhouse, to include Education & Career Development, Sports, Fitness & Recreation, The Arts, Character & Leadership Development and Health & Life Skills. Plans, develops, oversees implementation and supervises programs and program staff as well as performs related administrative duties. Preferred Candidates will have the following: · A four-year degree in a related field (e.g., business administration, education, child development, recreation and leisure, etc.) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience in the youth development field. · A minimum of two years progressively responsible work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people · Experience in working with at-risk youth · Demonstrated leadership skills · Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability not required but helpful · Ability to interact well with the public and co-workers · Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for the safety, well-being, and work output of others. Skills/Knowledge Requirements: · Proficient in Microsoft · Ability to sit, walk and stand for prolonged periods, and walk quickly on occasion · Ability to interact well with the public and co-workers · Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for the safety, well-being, and work output of others. Driving Position: Must be at least 18 years of age, with valid Nevada driver license and good driving record in order to transport passengers as mandated by our insurance company. Occasional local and distance driving may be required
