About The Position

The Clubhouse Maintenance Seasonal Assistant supports daily facility operations by performing a variety of custodial, preventative maintenance, and minor repair tasks within all areas of the building. This role helps ensure that all spaces remain clean, safe, functional, and welcoming for staff and members. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing hands-on work under general supervision. This is a seasonal position approximately May-August 40hrs per week.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Director of Facilities Maintenance in managing housekeeping staff routine daily tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness of hallways, offices, lobbies, locker rooms, restrooms, and other indoor spaces as needed.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform spot cleaning as needed to keep floors in good condition as needed.
  • Clean interior windows, glass doors, counters, and high-touch surfaces as needed.
  • Empty indoor trash and recycling receptacles and keep disposal areas tidy as needed.
  • Assist Director of Facilities Maintenance executing scheduled preventative maintenance in house and through 3rd party vendors.
  • Assist with small interior repairs such as tightening hardware, replacing light bulbs, patching walls, and performing paint touch-ups.
  • Help with basic plumbing tasks including unclogging drains, repairing fixtures and coordinating with 3rd party vendors.
  • Conduct routine checks of indoor safety and facility systems (lighting, fixtures, restroom supplies) and report issues promptly.
  • Organize and maintain indoor storage areas, custodial rooms, supplies, and equipment.
  • Perform light preventive care on maintenance tools, such as cleaning or checking fluids.
  • Track supply levels and notify management when materials require restocking.
  • Set up or rearrange tables, chairs, and equipment for meetings, events, or programs.
  • Assist with periodic deep-cleaning projects, including carpet cleaning and tile cleaning.
  • Move or transport boxes, equipment, and materials safely as assigned.
  • Follow all facility safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
  • Immediately report hazardous conditions, damaged fixtures, or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Collaborate effectively with maintenance staff and respond to work requests in a timely manner.
