About The Position

The Seaway Valley Prevention Council seeks a self-driven and creative individual to serve as its full-time Clubhouse Coordinator at the Horizons Youth Clubhouse in Massena. The Clubhouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Horizons Youth Clubhouse. Duties include designing programming, overseeing the project budget, planning community events, scheduling presentations, engaging with youth and parents, working with local school districts, and completing reporting. An effective Clubhouse Coordinator works to engage teens in meaningful, engaging programming that aligns with their interests while overseeing the program's organization and structure.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Education, Public Health, or a related field
• NYS OASAS CPP is required immediately upon hire
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Understanding of a variety of social media platforms
• Ability to use positive language to lead a team
• Creative
• Adaptive
• Organization and effective leadership skills
