About The Position

This position is for undergraduate students only, with an anticipated start date of August 2026. The role involves supervising club sports activities, ensuring facility safety and policy adherence, and responding to emergencies and injuries. The pay is $15.00 per hour, with 3 jobs available. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 6pm-10pm, with variable weekends. Work will be performed at the Carpenter Sports Building/Lil Bob.

  • A thorough understanding of the importance of “Little Bob Way”.
  • Applicants must be undergraduate students at the University of Delaware.

  • Applicants who are not enrolled as undergraduate students at the University will not be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Arrive on time and dress in appropriate attire.
  • Check on teams practicing on South Campus fields, gyms, weight rooms, courts, and track.
  • Obtain keys and appropriate equipment (e.g., ice, med kit) from the storage closet.
  • Handle any issues/disputes that may occur.
  • Track all equipment used during practices/games and ensure its return at the end of the night.
  • Be the first responder to injuries and complete all necessary reports.
  • Have knowledge of the facilities being supervised.
  • Enforce all facility and Club Sports policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Recognize and respond effectively to emergencies.
  • Uphold and maintain a positive image of the Club Sports Program.
  • Complete appropriate online incident reports in a timely manner.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings and facility training sessions.
