About The Position

This role is responsible for opening and maintaining the pool areas daily, ensuring the exterior of cottages and public areas are clean, and managing laundry and supplies. The Club Houseperson will also assist guests and members with requests and basic issues, and transport Housekeepers between locations. A strong emphasis is placed on safety protocols and maintaining a clean and pleasant environment.

Requirements

Ability to bend, stretch, and lift up to 30lbs on a regular basis.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time up to 90% of the day.
Able to withstand varying weather conditions.
Congenial personality; able to interact well with others.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Ability to climb and descend stairs on a regular basis.
Able to work well without constant supervision.
Perform job responsibilities and operate equipment according to the company safety and training programs.
Report safety or hazard concerns to management.
Report any on the job injury to management.
Take personal responsibility for safety every day.

Responsibilities

Open up the 5 pools daily, including blowing off pool decks, opening umbrellas, positioning chairs, and removing trash.
Maintain the exterior of cottages and public areas through pressure washing, removing cobwebs, and window washing.
Extract dirty linen, terry, and trash from cottages.
Place clean linen and terry into cottages.
Deliver guest requests and assorted items to cottages.
Transport Housekeepers between cottage locations and Central Services.
Stock supplies and maintain the warehouse.
Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and sorting room and table linen.
Maintain van cleanliness.
Maintain a clean, pleasant, and neat image.
Communicate with supervisors regarding work issues or concerns.
Interact with and assist guests and members as needed (e.g., plunging toilets, television remote operation).
Perform any duties asked of by leadership.
