About The Position

A sports club housekeeper maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across club areas, including locker rooms, fitness areas, offices, and public spaces, while supporting operational needs and member experience. The position includes general cleaning, restroom and locker room maintenance, surface and equipment care, waste management, and safety compliance. It also involves assisting members, restocking supplies, helping with opening or closing routines, and completing other duties assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor. This position comes with a limited CVRC membership.

Requirements

Attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards.
Physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand and bend for extended periods, and use ladders when needed.
Ability to work effectively with other club staff, including food and beverage, events, and management teams.
Ability to follow sanitation and chemical safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust club areas; clean tables, chairs, and other furniture.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, restock paper products, and help keep toilets and facilities in good condition.
Keep locker rooms clean, organized, stocked with supplies, and in good condition.
Dust and clean mechanical devices such as monitors and printers, and dust equipment.
Empty trash bins, remove debris, and dispose of waste properly.
Use cleaning chemicals safely, follow sanitation protocols, and report hazards or damage.
Provide courteous assistance to members, respond to their requests, and maintain a professional, welcoming atmosphere.
Restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other essentials as needed.
Assist with closing routines and help ensure the facility is ready for the next day’s operations.
Perform other duties assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
