About The Position

Koa Sports is seeking a dedicated Club/Development Field Hockey Coach to join our growing program. Field hockey is a popular year-round offering at Koa, with opportunities to coach players from U10 to U19 across various ages and skill levels. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our mission is to 'Shape Kid's Lives Through Sports.' We are looking for coaches who can effectively lead and guide young athletes both on and off the field, fostering their development as athletes and as individuals. Koa Sports is committed to creating a positive environment for players and families and provides training for coaches.

Requirements

• High School/College playing experience required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have a cell phone.

Nice To Haves

• Previous coaching training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Coach 1-2 practices per week, each 1.5 hours in length.
• Coach the team at 3-4 tournaments per season (Fall, Winter, Spring).
• Create practice plans.
• Embody Koa's 4 Core Values: Positive, Fun, Dedicated, Team First.
• Be an all-star communicator.
• Be responsible and take pride in shaping children's lives.
