The CLU Portfolio Manager II or III is responsible for underwriting all credit requests, including new requests as well as credit decisioning within some portfolios. This role is accountable for recommending credit structures with respect to quality and profitability within assigned geographies. Fundamental duties include ensuring that the risk philosophy, risk appetite, and lending strategies are adhered to while maintaining a high level of client responsiveness. The position requires analyzing financial statements and navigating a wide variety of financial structures and credit scenarios. The role ensures commercial lending activities are executed according to Truist's policies and procedures and builds effective relationships with Risk Management and client managers. This position requires being in-office 5 days a week at one of the listed locations, with no remote option available.
