About The Position

The CLS or Medical Technologist performs laboratory services involving phlebotomy, testing, specimen and result storage and retrieval, quality control and assurance, proficiency testing, instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and research and development of new instruments and tests. The role participates in a rotation that includes weekends, evenings, and holidays. This is a full-time position with variable days and day hours between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., totaling 72 hours per pay period.

Requirements

• Associate of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science—Medical Laboratory Technology, bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science—Medical Technology, or equivalent.
• Successfully completed and passed the Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) boards.
• ASCP certification or equivalent, or eligibility for certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and laboratory testing.
