One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As our CLS Med Tech, you will promptly and accurately analyze and report all tests ordered by the Medical Staff, following laboratory procedures and regulatory guidelines to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Every day, you will use technical skills, instrumentation, and information systems to provide essential clinical laboratory support while ensuring the quality and accuracy of all tests under leadership direction. To be successful in this role requires an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist understanding sample processing and result interpretation, prioritizes chemical and biological safety, and is adept at operating and maintaining lab equipment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of experience in an acute care facility required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a biological or chemical science as defined by CLIA
  • Appropriately trained in clinical laboratory science as evaluated by the Director of the Clinical Laboratory
  • California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (CLS) required.
  • A current Los Angeles County fire card is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in the Core lab, including Chemistry/Heme/USC.
  • Blood Bank preferred.

Responsibilities
