About The Position

This role requires an individual with in-depth knowledge of key AWS services and proven experience in assessing client workloads for cloud suitability. The architect will be responsible for developing business cases, cloud adoption roadmaps, and defining new architectures. They will also drive projects from an architectural standpoint, stay updated on best practices and market trends, and provide thought leadership. Establishing credibility with stakeholders and building scalable production systems are key aspects of this position. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, with a high degree of comfort speaking with technical leadership and development teams.

Requirements

In-depth knowledge of key AWS services like EC2, S3, etc.
Proven experience assessing client's workloads and technology landscape for Cloud suitability, developing a business case and Cloud adoption roadmap.
Proven knowledge of AWS platform and tools.
Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive projects from an architecture standpoint.
Ability to quickly establish credibility and trustworthiness with key stakeholders in the client organizations.
Experience provisioning and spinning up AWS Clusters
Experience to build scalable production systems (load balancers, Memcached, master/slave architectures).
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with CTOs, Enterprise Architects, IT Management, and developers.
Hands-on technical expertise in Security Architecture

Nice To Haves

Certification on AWS architecture desirable.
Knowledge of best practices and market trends pertaining to Cloud and overall industry to provide thought leadership (seminars, whitepapers, etc.,) and mentor team to build necessary competency.
