About The Position

This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies and their application in designing and optimizing cloud environments. The Cloud Technical Expert will be responsible for analyzing cloud service performance, recommending architectural solutions, implementing security best practices, managing cloud costs through FinOps principles, and modernizing legacy applications for cloud-native environments. A strong background in cloud security and cost optimization is essential.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of cloud service performance boundaries of AWS, Azure, or similar cloud technologies.
• Knowledgeable of Cloud security implementation best practices.
• Thorough understanding of Cloud financial operations (FinOps) in application design.
• Thorough understanding of Cloud cost guardrail mechanisms.
• At least seven (7) years of IT experience of which five (5) years must be in the Cloud environment.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
