About The Position

GliaCell is seeking a Cloud Technical Expert to support a U.S. Government customer on one of our subcontracts. This full-time position involves providing technical expertise to sustain critical mission-related software and systems within a large government contract. The role requires deep knowledge of cloud computing environments in both commercial and government sectors, as well as relevant academic research. The Cloud Technical Expert will advise the Government on achieving its cloud computing objectives by offering high-level recommendations and guidance based on a thorough understanding of cloud technologies and services.

Requirements

Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
U.S. Citizenship.
A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty (20) years of IT experience.
OR A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus twelve (12) years of IT experience of which five (5) years must be in the Cloud environment.
OR A Master’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus seven (7) years of IT experience.
OR A PhD in a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus three (3) years of IT experience.

Responsibilities

Support PAC hybrid computing efforts by using knowledge of cloud computing environments in commercial and government organizations, and relevant cloud computing related academic research.
Assist the Government in achieving its cloud computing objectives by providing high-level recommendations and guidance based on expert understanding of Cloud computing technologies and services.
