About The Position

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer to build, secure, automate, and operate cloud or enterprise infrastructure and platforms. The role focuses on availability, scalability, security, observability, automation, and dependable service operations. The successful candidate will apply practical expertise in the primary programming language and framework, APIs, SQL, testing, Git, and CI/CD; work with cross-functional teams; and contribute to reliable, maintainable solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle. This is a remote, full-time, direct W2 position. The stated salary range is $115,000–$165,000 annually. The position is not open to C2C or 1099 arrangements. Bright Vision Technologies cannot sponsor new H-1B visa petitions, although U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience, as specified in the job overview.
• Professional experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or systems operations relevant to the role.
• Practical experience with the role-specific technology stack, including the primary programming language and framework, APIs, SQL, testing, Git, and CI/CD.
• Hands-on knowledge of the named cloud, operating-system, container, or automation technologies.
• Understanding of networking, identity, security, monitoring, and availability fundamentals.
• Experience with scripting, automation, source control, or infrastructure as code.
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues methodically.
• Strong documentation and cross-team collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• Additional hands-on depth in the primary programming language and framework, APIs, SQL, testing, Git, and CI/CD.
• Experience with cloud services, automation, and modern delivery practices relevant to the project.
• Familiarity with secure development, accessibility, governance, or regulatory requirements where applicable.
• Relevant professional certifications or advanced training in the role’s technology area.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, configure, and operate cloud or infrastructure components using approved architecture patterns.
• Automate repeatable provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.
• Implement security, identity, networking, backup, monitoring, and availability controls.
• Investigate incidents, capacity issues, vulnerabilities, and performance problems.
• Maintain runbooks, diagrams, standards, and change records; collaborate across engineering and operations.
