About The Position

Supports PAC hybrid computing efforts by providing recommendations and advice regarding the design and architecture of the agency’s cloud-based hybrid computing environment. Tasks include understanding the government’s cloud computing objectives and the implementing contractor’s plans and approach, and providing recommendations to support the Government’s adoption of, migration to or governance/management of Cloud computing, Cloud DevOps, and other Cloud oriented activities.

Requirements

  • Requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • BS + 15yrs experience

Responsibilities

  • Create and lead the DevOps AWS based platform used to migrate COTS products from on-prem to WandS
  • Create Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OpenTofu, etc)
  • Create Gitlab Runner and CI/CD Pipelines to be used by Infrastructure and Development Teams
  • Create the patterns and Best Practices to be used by Development teams
  • Implement metrics and monitoring via AWS Cloudwatch
  • Familiarity with AWS Serverless components: Step Functions, Lambda Functions, S3 storage
