About The Position

TACG is seeking a Cloud Systems Analyst to support an Air Force (AFSAC) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Business Modernization effort in Dayton, Ohio. The position supports assessment, design, execution, and validation of the AFSAC On-Line application’s migration into Cloud One. The analyst evaluates infrastructure and application dependencies, develops migration strategies and roadmaps, executes and validates migrations, and supports security, documentation, training, and ongoing cloud optimization.

Requirements

• Federal background investigation clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, network engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in cloud, IT infrastructure, or migration projects.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of ETL processes, database migration, and data validation.
• Ability to assess risks, mitigate issues, and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Ability to understand application architecture, data dependencies, integrations, and Java and .NET code.

Nice To Haves

• AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Administrator (AZ-104), VMware VCP-DCV, or AWS Migration Specialty certification.
• AF Cloud One experience.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current infrastructure, map dependencies, and assess cloud readiness.
• Select migration approaches—including lift-and-shift, replatforming, refactoring, or rearchitecting—based on business and technical needs.
• Transfer data and applications using cloud migration tools such as AWS Application Migration Service, Azure Migrate, or Google Migrate for Compute Engine.
• Test migrated workloads, troubleshoot issues, and ensure performance and integrity meet requirements.
• Ensure migration activities adhere to data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain migration plans, technical documentation, and post-migration records.
• Provide user training and technical support for new cloud environments.
• Monitor cloud system performance, recommend enhancements, and manage cost optimization.
• Develop migration roadmaps and design application components based on discovery and analysis findings.
• Identify distinct migration courses of action (COAs) for each component.
