About The Position

Join a fast-paced Agile development program as a key member of our Platform Team. In this role, you’ll help maintain critical systems within an AWS cloud environment, ensuring multiple servers and applications remain secure, highly available, and optimized for daily use. You’ll tackle meaningful technical challenges, contribute to modernization efforts, and continually grow your skills across diverse systems and technologies. Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator, Cloud Administrator, or similar role
  • Experience managing servers, networks, patching, and cloud/virtual environments
  • Hands‑on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Relevant professional certifications or technical training

Nice To Haves

  • Production Kubernetes / Amazon EKS experience
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and identity federation
  • Experience with STIGs, security patching, and IL4/IL5 environments
  • Scripting skills (Shell, Perl, PowerShell) and automation tooling
  • Terraform expertise (modules, state mgmt, reusable IaC) and Ansible knowledge
  • Knowledge of observability/logging platforms (Splunk, CloudWatch)

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, deploy, and maintain servers, applications, and software
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues
  • Ensure infrastructure security, efficiency, and overall system health
  • Operate within a SAFe delivery model, partnering with cross‑functional teams
  • Support IaaS, IaC, networking, and firewall components
  • Perform system upgrades, IAVA patching, and ensure STIG compliance
  • Troubleshoot outages and implement root‑cause resolutions
  • Manage AWS resources and optimize cloud environments
  • Maintain strong security practices including access controls, backups, and firewalls
  • Build and maintain internal technical documentation, runbooks, and IT policies
