About The Position

Cloud System Administrator – Level 2 Location: Annapolis Junction,MD Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly Salary Range: $157,000 – $175,000 Overview Our client is seeking a Cloud System Administrator – Level 2 to support a dynamic software development program. This role is ideal for a systems professional with strong AWS experience who thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys working directly with development teams and end users.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration, including:
  • Installation, maintenance, administration, and troubleshooting of:
  • LAN/WAN networks
  • Computer hardware and software systems
  • AWS experience is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Five (5) additional years of system administration experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree

Responsibilities

  • Provide system administration support to a software development program
  • Perform system setup, configuration, and software installation across development, test, and production environments
  • Administer and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, hardware, and software systems
  • Troubleshoot system issues and ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Interface directly with software developers and end users to support system needs and resolve issues
  • Support continuous system improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
