About The Position

Cloud System Administrator who can manage AWS-hosted environments while supporting application deployments and platform operations. This role will bridge infrastructure, DevOps, and application support to ensure stability, security, and automation of our web platforms.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with AWS (EC2-centric environments)
  • Experience supporting lift-and-shift cloud migrations
  • Hands-on Jenkins pipeline administration
  • Windows Server and/or Linux administration experience
  • Experience managing SSL certificates in enterprise environments
  • Experience with IIS, AEM, and application deployments
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure and application layers
  • Familiarity with basic infrastructure automation (Terraform or scripting preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior on-premise system administration experience
  • Has transitioned to AWS infrastructure support
  • Understands CI/CD and deployment operations
  • Is comfortable operating in a hybrid DevOps/System Admin role
  • Can help gradually move toward more automation and cloud-native best practices

Responsibilities

  • Manage EC2-based environments (DEV, QA, STG, PRD)
  • Configure and maintain security groups, IAM roles, instance profiles
  • Support ALB, Route53, S3 integrations
  • Monitor instance health and system performance
  • Assist with patching and OS hardening
  • Support migration stabilization (post lift-and-shift)
  • Maintain and enhance Jenkins pipelines
  • Support build and deployment automation
  • Troubleshoot pipeline failures
  • Manage environment configuration for releases
  • Improve deployment reliability and rollback procedures
  • Manage SSL generation, installation, and renewals
  • Maintain certificate chain and intermediate validation
  • Automate SSL review and expiration monitoring
  • Improve certificate management process in AWS
  • Support AEM deployments and troubleshooting
  • Support IIS/.NET application deployments
  • Maintain Solr configuration and health
  • Monitor logs and resolve infrastructure-related issues
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual operational tasks
  • Improve monitoring and alerting processes
  • Support documentation and runbooks
  • Contribute to long-term cloud optimization strategy
