Job Description: We are looking for experienced Software QA Engineers skilled in networking, security, tunnel and route orchestration, and IDPS. Candidates will handle manual test validation, performance/scale testing, and automation of our security and cloud solutions. Experience with complex network system validation and Python scripting for automation is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 8-15 years as a Senior software QA Engineer in networking/security environment
- Strong understanding of the OSI model and networking protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, HTTP, DNS, routing protocols and VLANs
- Familiarity with SAML, SNMP, GRE, IPSEC, Syslog, MDM, and SSH
- Proficient in route/tunnel orchestration solutions, IDPS, threat modelling, security practices, and Cloud products/IaaS (AWS, Azure)
- Experienced in log analysis, issue debugging, and effective collaboration with cross functional teams to address customer/field issues
- Expertise in configuring a wide range of security devices, such as firewalls, VPNs, IDPS, switches, and routers
- Strong proficiency in data networking, encompassing Layer 2/Layer 3 switching, routing, and WLAN technologies
- Practical experience with configuration and testing of Active Directory, LDAP, and other authentication sources
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware, KVM, Hyper-V
- Experience testing Security/Cloud products (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge/Experience in testing applications for Public Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Cloud)
- Exposure to container-based technologies and Kubernetes
- System load and performance testing expertise
- Experience with load/performance test systems such as Breaking Point and Spirent
- System scale, performance and/or solution-level testing experience
- Strong command of Linux CLI commands and Bash scripting
- Proficiency in Test automation development using Python, debugging failures, maintenance of scripts
- Experience in test script development for automated validation using Pytest framework
