About The Position
This role involves developing and modifying scalable architecture for applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. The specialist will ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. A key responsibility is safely moving existing on-premises applications, workloads, and databases to public cloud platforms. The role also includes monitoring and analyzing cloud infrastructure performance to proactively identify and resolve issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, the specialist will design controls and processes utilizing available audit tools and maintain up-to-date knowledge of cloud products and technology.
Requirements
- Proficiency in major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with automation and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of cloud networking, virtual private clouds (VPCs), and firewalls.
- Advanced VM management, Windows Server/Active Directory, and Linux administration.
