About The Position

Design the cloud solutions that power tomorrow's mission capabilities. NS2 Mission is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to support a proposed government program in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you'll design, develop, and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures that support mission-critical applications and enterprise services. Working closely with engineering teams, you'll help define cloud strategy, modernize application deployments, and deliver innovative solutions across secure commercial cloud environments. Requirements

  • Expert-level experience designing and implementing cloud-based architectures.
  • 5+ years of experience building compute architectures within Top Secret or Secret commercial cloud environments.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and deploying applications within secure commercial cloud environments.
  • 3+ years of experience scripting with Python, Ruby, or other scripting languages.
  • Experience using modern software development and collaboration tools, including GitHub, GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, application deployment, and enterprise cloud services.
  • Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S security clearance which requires U.S citizenship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience productionizing AI/ML, analytics, or data science solutions for enterprise environments.
  • Experience deploying deep learning or GPU-enabled workloads in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with deployment automation, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud orchestration technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures supporting enterprise mission applications.
  • Architect, develop, and deploy applications within secure commercial cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, and technical leadership to develop cloud-native solutions.
  • Develop automation and scripting solutions to streamline cloud deployments and operational processes.
  • Leverage enterprise cloud services to improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Utilize source control, knowledge management, and collaboration tools to support software development and engineering best practices.
  • Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend architectural improvements that enhance mission capabilities.
  • Support technical planning, system modernization, and cloud migration initiatives.
