Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud solutions
  • Strong experience working within AWS cloud environments
  • Solid understanding of cloud security concepts including IAM, networking, encryption, least-privilege access, and security best practices
  • Experience supporting Linux and/or Windows server environments
  • Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
  • Experience with automation, DevOps tools, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)

Nice To Haves

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate and/or AWS Certified Security – Specialty
  • Experience within healthcare, HIPAA, PCI DSS, HITRUST, or other regulated environments
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure technologies and security tools
  • Advanced Terraform experience
  • Experience with containers and cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, and AWS Lambda
  • Experience building or integrating APIs using FastAPI
  • Exposure to Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platforms and workflow automation tools

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions primarily within AWS
  • Architect and deploy AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Route53, IAM, and related technologies
  • Build and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and AWS CloudFormation)
  • Lead and support cloud migration initiatives from on-premise environments to AWS
  • Enhance performance, reliability, and security across existing cloud workloads
  • Implement and maintain cloud security best practices, governance standards, and compliance controls
  • Configure and manage encryption solutions for data at rest and in transit using AWS KMS and related services
  • Monitor, audit, and assess cloud environments using AWS Config, CloudTrail, and security monitoring tools
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and security reviews
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with security, infrastructure, DevOps, and application development teams
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, automation initiatives, and secure DevOps practices
  • Create architecture documentation, technical diagrams, and operational standards
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear communication for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
