About The Position

The Cloud Solutions Architect is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of a robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based platform. This role provides strategic leadership in managing cloud architecture across multiple environments and ensures that cloud solutions align with organizational goals and customer needs. This requisition supports hiring at multiple experience levels. Final placement will be determined based on the selected applicant’s qualifications, experience, and skill sets. Requirements

  • Level 2: 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
  • Level 3: 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Level 4: 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
  • Proven experience architecting, designing, and implementing cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, distributed systems, and modern software development practices.
  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure including networking, storage, security controls, and virtualization.
  • Ability to design systems that meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-focused solutions.
  • Must possess and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
  • Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of job.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall architecture, design, and deployment of cloud-based platforms and services.
  • Develop scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions that support organizational and customer requirements.
  • Manage the organization’s cloud environments, including front-end platforms, servers, storage solutions, and management networks.
  • Define and maintain cloud architectural standards, patterns, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering and development teams to integrate modern software development techniques and emerging technologies.
  • Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve performance, security, and efficiency.
  • Ensure cloud systems meet performance, compliance, and security expectations.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to technical teams regarding cloud architecture and implementation strategies.
  • Support troubleshooting and optimization of cloud environments to maintain high availability and reliability.
  • Additional duties as assigned or required.
