About The Position

This is a temporary project role for a Cloud Solutions Architect with expertise in Azure and GCP, estimated to last 12 months with possible extensions. The position is hybrid, requiring 2 days per week onsite in Austin, TX. The role involves directing the architectural aspects of a cloud brokering team, planning and engineering cloud infrastructure and applications, and implementing hardware and software for cloud technology (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS). The architect will support a regulated, multi-cloud enterprise environment, focusing on data/AI platforms, vendor coordination, monitoring, and 24x7 operations, while ensuring security, compliance, and system reliability. Key responsibilities include defining and implementing cloud governance frameworks, cost optimization, tagging policies, and resource lifecycle management across Azure and GCP. Collaboration with cross-functional teams (data engineering, security, DevOps, business units) is essential to align cloud architecture with enterprise goals, ensuring scalability, performance, and seamless integration of AI-driven solutions.

Requirements

  • Availability to work 2 days per week at the Client's site in Austin, TX
  • Experience with Multi-Cloud Platform Expertise (Azure + GCP) (8+ years)
  • Experience with GenAI & Enterprise AI Platform Knowledge (Gemini, Vertex AI) (8+ years)
  • Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, GCP Cloud Monitoring, and logging frameworks to track performance, reliability, and usage (8+ years)
  • Experience with Logstash for log ingestion, transformation, and integration with Azure Log Analytics for proactive monitoring and alerting (8+ years)
  • Experience with designing alerting solutions using Twilio (SMS/voice) for ETL failures and operational notifications (8+ years)
  • Experience with Blob Storage, Data Lakes, and structured storage systems enabling analytics and AI workloads (8+ years)
  • Experience with supporting data pipelines, data platforms, and analytics workloads in enterprise environments (8+ years)
  • Experience with Informatica Cloud (IICS), Secure Agents, APIs, and integration patterns, including handling monitoring and integration challenges (8+ years)
  • Experience with IAM (least privilege), network security, audit logging, and compliance (FedRAMP/regulated environments) (8+ years)
  • Experience with supporting Tier 2/3 issues, debugging logs, resolving platform access issues, and maintaining stability in production environments (8+ years)

  • Experience with building and managing Tableau Cloud environments (3+ years)

Responsibilities

  • Direct the architectural aspects of a cloud brokering team across all aspects of IT and the business
  • Plan and engineer the organization's cloud computing infrastructure and applications
  • Implement and design hardware and software for cloud technology, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS
