About The Position

As a Cloud & AI Infrastructure Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) in iCSU, you will partner with Microsoft’s largest and most strategic customers to design, migrate, modernize, and operate secure, resilient, and AI-ready Azure infrastructure platforms. You will lead customer-funded technical engagements, remove adoption blockers, and drive production outcomes across migration, modernization, security, resiliency, and AI readiness scenarios. Working within Microsoft's global delivery organization, you will lead customer-funded technical engagements and collaborate with worldwide delivery teams to execute architecture, migration, modernization, and AI adoption projects at scale. You will be responsible for driving successful technical outcomes, accelerating Azure consumption, removing adoption blockers, and enabling customers to realize measurable business value from their Microsoft investments. You will join a high-impact iCSU Cloud & AI Infrastructure team working on complex, global customer environments where your work directly influences customer success, AI transformation, and Microsoft Cloud growth. This role offers strong technical depth, leadership exposure, and opportunities to shape repeatable solutions at scale. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure, application development, consulting, technical delivery, or solution architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure services including compute, networking, storage, monitoring, backup, and security.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services across infrastructure, modern applications and AI.
  • Experience delivering migration and modernization projects using Azure Migrate, Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), Well-Architected Framework (WAF), and Landing Zones.
  • Knowledge of security and resiliency principles including Defender for Cloud, identity, networking security, and business continuity & disaster recovery.
  • Experience delivering customer-facing technical projects from design through production deployment, leading technical discussions with senior IT and business stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security, resiliency, governance, and operational excellence principles.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across global, cross-functional, and virtual teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer, Azure AI Engineer, or Security Engineer.
  • Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud scenarios including Azure Arc, AVS, or regulated / sovereign environments.
  • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code using Bicep or Terraform and DevOps practices.
  • Experience supporting SAP on Azure, Linux, Windows Server, databases, or mission-critical workloads.
  • Experience with cloud-native application development using AKS, App Services, Containers, API Management, GitHub, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with Azure AI Services, Azure AI Foundry, Generative AI, RAG architectures, AI agents, or machine learning solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture, migration, modernization, optimization, and AI adoption engagements for strategic enterprise customers across infrastructure, application, and AI solution areas.
  • Enable AI-ready infrastructure by ensuring customer environments meet security, resiliency, data, and performance requirements for AI workloads at scale.
  • Design secure, scalable, resilient, and production-ready solutions using Azure Infrastructure, Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI Services, AKS, App Services, Data Platforms, GitHub, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Own technical delivery outcomes and committed milestones for customer-funded engagements, ensuring successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with Customer Success Account Managers (CSAMs), Factory teams, Specialists, Engineering, and Partners to deliver One Microsoft outcomes following MCEM principles.
  • Accelerate Azure consumption by identifying next-best workloads, expansion opportunities, and technical recommendations that drive customer business outcomes.
  • Enable customers to build AI-ready environments by addressing infrastructure, security, governance, networking, application modernization, and data platform requirements.
  • Support Factory execution through delivery oversight, risk management, escalation support, and technical governance, leading to customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute reusable intellectual property (IP), automation assets, architectures, and best practices that improve delivery efficiency and scalability across the organization.
  • Act as the Voice of the Customer by sharing customer insights, product feedback, and adoption blockers with engineering teams.
  • Deliver customer workshops, architecture reviews, technical assessments, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and production readiness activities.
  • Continuously build technical depth through ongoing skilling, certifications, accreditations and participation in technical communities.
