About The Position

We are seeking a Cloud Software Engineer with expertise in Java, Python, Go, and Rust for a direct hire, fully onsite position in Raleigh, NC. This role requires U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility. The ideal candidate will have a BS or higher in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field, with 8+ years of relevant work experience (6+ years with an MS). Strong communication skills, technical leadership experience, and a commitment to team performance are essential. The role involves working onsite 5 days a week.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship (No exceptions; green card holders are not eligible)
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
• BS or higher in Computer science, IT, Engineering, Applied mathematics, or a closely related field
• 8+ years relevant work experience with BS
• 6+ years relevant work experience with MS
• Good oral & written communication skills
• Technical leadership experience
• Excel as a team player and strive to maximize team & department performance
• Willing to work on-site 5 days a week at our Raleigh, NC location

• Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD)
• Certified ScrumMaster recognized by the Scrum Alliance

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications
• Implementing and managing event-driven architecture
• Building secure software solutions using Python, Java, Go or Rust with a focus on security best practices
• Design and implementation of User Interfaces (UI/UX)
• Practical experience and proficiency in software development using the Scrum framework
