About The Position

Seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to support the development, integration, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and sustainment of mission-critical software systems within a highly secure environment. This position works across the software development lifecycle to analyze requirements, develop and integrate software capabilities, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure reliable system performance. The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer who can work independently and collaboratively within a technical team while supporting complex customer and mission requirements.

Requirements

  • Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is highly desired and may be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experience
  • A Master's degree in a technical field may be considered equivalent to four (4) years of experience.
  • Degrees in Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar disciplines will be considered technical degrees
  • Eight (8) or more years of directly related experience in software development or software engineering
  • Qualifying experience must include activities such as: Requirements analysis, Software development, Software installation, Software integration, Software evaluation, Software enhancement, Software maintenance, Software testing, Problem diagnosis and resolution
  • Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain prior to start, at least one of the following certifications: AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS Certified Machine Learning – Associate, AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)

Responsibilities

  • Perform software requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, installation, enhancement, maintenance, and sustainment activities.
  • Develop and maintain software applications and supporting components in accordance with established technical requirements and engineering standards.
  • Integrate software components and capabilities within existing system environments.
  • Evaluate software performance and functionality and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Diagnose and resolve software defects, integration issues, and operational problems.
  • Support software testing, troubleshooting, and problem resolution throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Participate in technical reviews, software evaluations, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation associated with software development, integration, testing, and sustainment activities.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, test engineers, and other technical team members to deliver reliable mission capabilities.
  • Support cloud-based software development and deployment activities as required.
