About The Position

Purolator is Canada’s leading integrated freight, package, and logistics provider, delivering reliable solutions for over 60 years. Our Shipper Technology team is seeking a Cloud Software Developer to join our team on a contract basis. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position. As a Software Developer, you will be involved in all aspects of a project's lifecycle, from requirements and design through development, deployment, and incident support. You will work closely with our customers, both within Purolator and beyond. You will work to understand their needs and actively contribute towards technical solutions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications that must be conducted in English with various stakeholders. This requirement is justified by the nature of the responsibilities and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering code across a range of languages, with a focus on quality
• Working with our dedicated Testing team to resolve bugs and improve the overall solution
• Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to ship frequently
• Providing input on architectural & design decisions
• Self-managing your workload in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Rolling out solutions to the market, including writing good documentation and putting out technical fires.
