About The Position

The Technical Lead for GCP Application Development is responsible for leading a team in the design, development, and deployment of applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involves providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure successful GCP application development projects.

Requirements

• Proficiency in google cloud platform (gcp) services and tools such as compute engine, app engine, cloud storage, bigquery, and cloud functions
• Strong experience in programming languages like java, python, or node.js for gcp application development
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as docker and kubernetes in the context of gcp
• Experience with gcp data solutions including bigtable, datastore, and pub/sub
• Familiarity with gcp networking, iam, and security principles for developing secure and robust applications on gcp
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, or Google Cloud Professional Developer certifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in designing, developing, and implementing scalable and secure applications on gcp
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
• Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines in gcp application development
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in gcp applications, ensuring high performance and reliability
