About The Position

abra [department/team name] is seeking for an Cloud Security Expert. This role provides professional and architectural leadership of the information security framework in multi-cloud environments (AWS & Azure). The role combines strategic planning, policy writing, and end-to-end leadership of technological projects. The selected candidate will serve as the professional authority for cloud security מול development teams, infrastructure teams, and project managers, while ensuring compliance with strict financial regulations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Information Security, including at least 3 years as a Cloud Architect / Cloud Security Expert with hands-on cloud infrastructure experience.
• Proven experience working in multi-cloud environments (AWS & Azure) — mandatory.
• Proven experience managing and leading cross-organizational technology projects.
• Deep understanding of Linux/Windows-based operating systems and infrastructures.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies such as Kubernetes / OpenShift (OCP).
• Strong familiarity with cybersecurity and information security regulations, especially Bank of Israel and financial-sector regulations.
• Experience leading information security projects.
• Assertiveness and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions מול stakeholders with conflicting interests.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including writing specifications, procedures, and presentations.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication abilities.
• Ability to motivate technical and managerial teams toward security objectives.
• Ability and willingness to learn and integrate new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and approve complex security architectures in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Lead the full lifecycle of security projects — from requirements gathering and solution evaluation (PoC) through full production implementation.
• Act firmly and assertively מול project managers and development teams to ensure implementation of security requirements without compromising protection quality.
• Translate regulatory requirements (especially banking/financial regulations) into practical technical guidelines and procedures.
• Analyze cloud security incidents and lead lessons-learned processes.
• Initiate advanced technological solutions to improve and automate cloud security defenses.
