About The Position
Interclypse is supporting Maryland state agencies in modernizing and sustaining critical systems. The Cloud Security Engineer assists with implementing and monitoring security controls in customer cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Working under the supervision of senior engineers, the engineer configures cloud-native security tools, responds to security alerts, and helps enforce security policies. The role is on-site at various locations in Maryland and offers opportunities for professional growth within Interclypse’s growth-mindset culture.
Requirements
- At least three years of IT experience, with an emphasis on cloud services or system administration.
- At least one year of hands-on experience with core cloud services in AWS or Azure.
- Basic knowledge of cloud security principles.
- A relevant certification, such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
Nice To Haves
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is preferred.
Responsibilities
