About The Position

As an access and data tagging specialist, you know how to apply your creative-thinking and analytical mindset to help organizations manage and secure their data assets. We’re looking for an experienced data architect like you to deliver leading-edge solutions for the warfighter. As an access and data tagging specialist on our team, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to design data architecture solutions for data tagging. You’ll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by ensuring data is only available to the intended audience. In this role, you’ll grow your technical expertise, apply best practices, and use tools like Collibra or Alation. You’ll guide your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you’ll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure, cloud native services, and applications, including AWS, Azure, or Google
  • 2+ years of experience with RBAC, ABAC, Identity and Access Management (IdAM), and Zero-Trust Architecture
  • Experience applying and maintaining metadata, labels or tags to datasets and data assets at scale
  • Experience with documenting data standards, tagging, and governance
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of hire date

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data classification and tagging tools
  • Knowledge of Authority to Operate and DoD Cloud SRG requirements
  • Ability to collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure proper data usage and classification
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or Engineering
  • AWS Certifications
