Cloud Security engineer
About The Position
We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer with strong experience in AWS and GCP infrastructure and security. The role requires proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation, solid software development skills in Python (mid-level or above), and experience with OPA (Open Policy Agent) and related technologies. This is an onsite position in Austin, TX, for W2 candidates only, with a duration of 12 months. Candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card holders and be immediately available for onsite work. Interviews may be conducted via video or in-person.
Requirements
- Strong experience in AWS and GCP infrastructure and security.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Solid software development skills in Python (mid-level or above).
- Experience with OPA (Open Policy Agent) and related technologies.
- Must be a local candidate to Austin, TX.
- Must be immediately available for onsite work.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage cloud security solutions in AWS and GCP.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Write and maintain Python code for security automation and tooling.
- Utilize OPA (Open Policy Agent) for policy enforcement.
- Ensure security best practices are followed in cloud environments.
