About The Position

UDR is seeking qualified candidates for a Cloud Platform Engineer opportunity in Charleston, West Virginia.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency in languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Understanding of virtual private clouds (VPCs), DNS, and firewalls.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in cloud infrastructure administration and automation.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubermetes/AKS/EKS).
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or azure DevOps.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience scripting in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• A minimum of three (3) years with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Write code to provision and manage cloud resources using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain automated testing and deployment workflows using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Track platform health, analyze logs, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Enforce access controls, identity management, and security standards.
