About The Position

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join their team and support their client in the Ft. Meade, MD area. This role involves providing support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cloud systems and environments, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices. The engineer will collaborate with support teams on workload management, patch management, active directory management, and onboarding. Key responsibilities include optimizing cloud system operations, resource utilization, performing capacity analysis and planning, and providing detailed analysis and feedback for escalated tickets. The role also supports the deployment of applications across multiple classification levels and assists with requirements to capabilities analysis and implementation.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in AWS cloud technologies and platforms
• 2 years of experience in Windows Server and/or Linux Systems Administration
• 1 year of experience with PowerShell and/or Bash Scripting
• DoD 8570 Compliant with IAT Level II certification (ex: Sec+)
• Must have an active TS/SCI level clearance

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
• Prior experience as a cloud systems administrator or cloud engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cloud systems and environments
• Provide support for cloud systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices
• Collaborate with support teams on workload management, patch management, active directory management, onboarding, and any other troubleshooting as required
• Optimize cloud system operations, resource utilization, and perform capacity analysis and planning
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback to management and internal customers for escalated tickets
• Support the deployment of applications across multiple classification levels
• Support requirements to capabilities analysis and implementation
