  • Experience supporting Azure Ubuntu virtual machines, including Linux-based VM administration, troubleshooting, and operational support.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture and platform integration patterns.
  • Exposure to workflow or data platform tooling such as Airflow, Databricks, or similar analytics platforms.
  • Understanding of platform reliability, operational readiness, and production support practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, build, operate, and improve Azure-based platform, services and cloud environments.
  • Support containerized workloads running on Azure Kubernetes platforms (AKS), Azure VM and related runtime patterns.
  • Help engineer and maintain platform components such as Azure Blob Storage, Azure File Share, Event Grid, Event Hubs, Key Vault, API Management and other Azure Cloud services.
  • Contribute to DevOps and platform engineering practices including CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, environment management, monitoring and operational mandate.
  • Support event-driven and scheduled workload patterns across platform services and compute environments.
  • Partner with application, data and analytics teams to onboard workloads onto shared platform capabilities.

  • Improve observability, reliability, security, and cost discipline across the platform.
  • Support Kubernetes-based application development, deployment, configuration, scaling, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist with platform automation for build, release, configuration, and environment setup.
  • Help maintain secure secrets, identity, and access patterns using services such as Azure Key Vault and managed identity.
