About The Position

As a member of one of our platform engineering squads, you will leverage your experience and expertise to design and develop cloud-based solutions. This means implementing massively scalable services, automating all system operations, measuring and continuously improving service quality, and making the lives of other developers easier. You will play a key role in helping our product reach its next stage of evolution and delight our users and customers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with architecting, developing, and operating cloud solutions on AWS for Web/API applications.
  • Knowledge of AWS networking and the following core AWS services: CloudFront, CloudWatch, ECS, Lambda, RDS, and SNS, SQS.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with at least one of the following tools: AWS CDK (preferred), AWS CloudFormation or Terraform/OpenTofu.
  • Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C# or similar.
  • Experience with at least one scripting language such as Bash or similar.
  • Experience with on-call for operating global services.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Strong DevOps mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with AWS DynamoDB or OpenSearch.
  • Proficiency with Ansible or other IaC solutions.
  • Experience with distributed application architecture and development.
  • AWS Developer Associate Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, or other valid, relevant AWS certifications.
  • Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python (preferred), Java, or similar.
  • Experience with AI enablement platform.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and operate cloud solutions on AWS with a focus on automation, high performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Take part in the definition of novel cloud solution designs and lead their development.
  • Work in sprints with other engineers (backend, frontend, SRE, and other CPEs) as part of a cross-functional team to deliver new features into production.
  • Collaborate with other squads in Product Development and Mission Control to ensure solutions fit into the Sonar platform.
  • Contribute to your squad’s efforts in operating its services through, i.e., definition and upkeeping SLOs, investigate alarms and respond to incidents to maintain a high quality of service.
