About The Position

Peraton seeks a Cloud / Platform Architect to support Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security Support. In this role, you will design and oversee cloud and big data platform infrastructure supporting Caspian and JCRS-D environments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D. Will consider HS+16 years of experience
• Expert knowledge of big data platforms
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
• Understanding of distributed systems
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration
• Experience with DoD cloud environments
• U.S Citizenship required
• DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance

Nice To Haves

• 12 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree is preferred in Computer Science or a related field
• AWS/Azure Solutions Architect certification
• Hadoop certification
