About The Position

At Accenture Federal Services, our purpose is to make the US federal government stronger and safer, and to improve the lives of citizens through technology and ingenuity. We are seeking a Cloud Platform Architect to join our team and support our client in the Colorado Springs area. This role involves overseeing the design and deployment of applications across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. You will develop and execute cloud adoption strategies, ensure seamless application integration, and manage the ongoing operation and monitoring of cloud-based solutions. Your expertise will guide the transition of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures and optimize performance within these environments.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience working in cloud environments as an administrator or engineer (e.g.: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code processes
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g.: Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Experience with automation frameworks
• Experience embedding RMF processes and comprehensive vulnerability assessments into cloud infrastructure
• Background in cloud cybersecurity (e.g.: identity management, data encryption, incident response processes, etc.)
• Active TS/SCI level clearance

Nice To Haves

• Experience with management and monitoring solutions such as: CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Datadog
• Previous involvement in designing cloud service models, implementing security best practices, and managing multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
