About The Position

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to design, deploy, and operate cloud networking infrastructure across one or more major cloud providers. The position covers VPC/VNet design, hybrid connectivity, transit topologies, edge networking, DNS, and security controls that support reliable and safe cloud networking at scale.

The successful candidate will bring deep traditional networking knowledge and cloud-native networking experience, including building production cloud networks at meaningful scale and applying automation to networking work. The role works closely with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions. It also involves raising engineering standards through code and design reviews and mentoring more junior engineers. Strong engineering discipline, clear communication, and a record of delivering production-ready work are expected.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
• Five or more years of networking experience, including significant time in cloud networking.
• Deep hands-on networking experience with at least one major cloud provider.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, BGP, and modern networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with hybrid connectivity such as Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, or equivalents.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code for cloud networking, especially Terraform.
• Strong understanding of cloud security and network controls.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes networking and service mesh fundamentals.
• Strong troubleshooting and packet-level analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• Cloud networking specialty certification, such as AWS Advanced Networking or Azure Network Engineer.
• Experience with multi-cloud networking and cloud-to-cloud connectivity.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN platforms and SASE architectures.
• Experience with eBPF-based networking tools.
• Exposure to regulated industries with strict network segmentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate cloud networking infrastructure across one or more major cloud providers.
• Develop and support VPC/VNet design, hybrid connectivity, transit topologies, edge networking, DNS, and cloud network security controls.
• Work with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into well-engineered solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews and design reviews.
• Mentor more junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot cloud networking issues, including through packet-level analysis.
