Cloud Network Engineer - Epic
About The Position
The Epic Cloud Engineer is responsible for the support and administration of an Azure cloud network environment hosting a large Epic deployment. This individual will be a subject matter expert who enhances Quest's cloud service model and enables automation for scoped cloud services, specifically to support the stability, security, and reliability of the Epic infrastructure. Primarily an operational role, the Cloud Network Engineer will collaborate with our Architecture, Development, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure consistent, reliable, and secure network connectivity between Quest locations, various public cloud providers, and the Internet. The Epic Cloud Engineer will closely work with other team members and consulting partners to meet Quest’s cloud operational needs.
Requirements
- Subject matter expert in Azure cloud network administration.
- Experience supporting and administering cloud network environments.
- Experience with Epic infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud service models.
- Experience with automation for cloud services.
- Experience ensuring stability, security, and reliability of cloud infrastructure.
- Experience ensuring network connectivity between locations, public cloud providers, and the Internet.
- Collaboration skills with Architecture, Development, Security, and Infrastructure teams.
- Ability to work closely with team members and consulting partners.
