Vectra AI Cloud Native Engineer - Active TS/SCI with CI Poly

About The Position

Essential Network Security (ENS) Solutions is seeking a Cloud-Native Vectra AI Engineer to design, integrate, and optimize Vectra AI Detect/Recall and supporting telemetry pipelines across AWS, Azure, and GCP. The role focuses on cloud-native microservices, distributed systems, event streaming, infrastructure as code, and highly available security analytics integrations. The engineer will architect and deploy Vectra AI integrations in cloud environments, build and maintain scalable ingestion pipelines, and develop microservices for metadata ingestion, enrichment, and alert processing. The position also involves integrating Vectra AI with cloud SIEM/SOAR systems, identity platforms, Zero Trust controls, and cloud logging pipelines; implementing repeatable deployments; and optimizing workloads for performance, security, and resiliency. The role includes creating dashboards, runbooks, automation scripts, and monitoring strategies for cloud environments. The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph. Candidates must meet one of the listed combinations of education and experience supporting IT projects and activities, and be able to obtain specified DoD 8570 certifications within the stated timeframes.

Requirements

At least 3 years of engineering experience with cloud architecture across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience building distributed systems, microservices, and API-driven pipelines.
Experience with Network Detection and Response platforms, such as Corelight, Stellar, Cortex, Falcon, or RevealX.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Puppet.
Strong understanding of cloud networking, traffic mirroring, logging, and telemetry flows.
Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
One of the following education and experience combinations supporting IT projects and activities: high school diploma or GED and 7+ years; associate degree and 5+ years; bachelor's degree and 3+ years; or master's degree and 1+ years.
Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification, such as SecurityX (formerly CASP+), CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP or Associate, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP, within 60 days of the start date.
Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support (CSSP-IS) certification, including CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND, within 30 days of the start date.

Nice To Haves

Experience with cloud identity (AAD, IAM) and Zero Trust security patterns.
Hands-on experience with the Vectra AI platform.
Proficiency with Kubernetes or cloud container platforms.
Experience with packet analytics tools such as Zeek, Suricata, or Arkime in cloud traffic pipelines.
Knowledge of streaming platforms such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub.
Experience supporting secure cloud adoption in federal or regulated environments.
DevSecOps experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Architect and deploy Vectra AI Detect/Recall integrations in cloud environments using managed services, container orchestration platforms, and serverless compute.
Build and maintain scalable cloud-native data ingestion pipelines.
Develop microservices for metadata ingestion, enrichment, and alert processing.
Integrate Vectra AI with cloud SIEM/SOAR systems, identity platforms, Zero Trust controls, and cloud logging pipelines.
Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools for repeatable deployment of cloud Vectra AI components.
Optimize cloud workloads for performance, security, and resiliency.
Build dashboards, runbooks, automation scripts, and monitoring strategies for cloud environments.
