About The Position

This role involves supporting the operation and maintenance of secure information systems, with a focus on cloud infrastructure. The engineer will be responsible for administering both Linux and Windows environments, utilizing scripting and configuration tools, and working with container technologies and infrastructure as code principles. A strong understanding of AWS and DevSecOps practices is essential. The position requires the ability to obtain specific DoD certifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or 6+ years of IT systems administration experience in place of a degree
• 3+ years supporting the operation and maintenance of secure information systems
• 3+ years working with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces
• 3+ years supporting AWS and container technologies
• 3+ years administering Windows environments and Active Directory
• 3+ years using Bash, Ansible, YAML, or similar scripting and configuration tools
• 1+ year working with infrastructure as code and DevSecOps or continuous-delivery environments using tools such as Terraform
• 1+ year supporting Kubernetes or comparable platform-as-a-service technologies
• Ability to obtain the required DoD IAT Level II baseline certification, such as Security+, and an applicable AWS certification within 30 days of starting
