About The Position

This role involves supporting the operation and maintenance of secure information systems, with a focus on cloud infrastructure. The engineer will be responsible for administering both Linux and Windows environments, utilizing scripting and configuration tools, and working with container technologies and infrastructure as code. A strong understanding of AWS and DevSecOps principles is essential. The position requires the ability to obtain specific DoD and AWS certifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or 6+ years of IT systems administration experience in place of a degree
• 3+ years supporting the operation and maintenance of secure information systems
• 3+ years working with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces
• 3+ years supporting AWS and container technologies
• 3+ years administering Windows environments and Active Directory
• 3+ years using Bash, Ansible, YAML, or similar scripting and configuration tools
• 1+ year working with infrastructure as code and DevSecOps or continuous-delivery environments using tools such as Terraform
• 1+ year supporting Kubernetes or comparable platform-as-a-service technologies
• Ability to obtain the required DoD IAT Level II baseline certification, such as Security+, and an applicable AWS certification within 30 days of starting
