About The Position

KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security. At KBR, you'll be working on prototype projects that support the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory’s most mission-critical objectives. The Air Force Research Laboratory is the primary scientific research and development center for the Department of the Air Force. AFRL plays an integral role in leading the discovery, development, and integration of affordable warfighting technologies for our air, space, and cyberspace force. Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
  • B.S. in Computer Science or other relevant field of study
  • 10 years of cloud-based solution design experience
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure products and capabilities
  • Experienced in deploying and managing resources in AWS and Azure government environments
  • Highly proficient in use of Infrastructure as Code (BICEP or Terraform) for cloud platform builds
  • Azure Experienced in containerization technologies and Kubernetes to include Helm deployments
  • Experience in managing and leading a team of engineers
  • Experience with managing resources using Agile planning methodologies
  • Proficient in managing tasks and code repos using GitLab and Azure DevOps
  • CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced in network design principles
  • Experience deploying resources in USAF DAF CloudWorks
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems creatively
  • Experienced with data encryption methodologies using PKI
  • CompTIA Network+ or equivalent vendor certification
  • Proficient in creating system diagrams using Visio or equivalent.
  • Experience in system administration of Red Hat Linux 8+, Microsoft Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and manage the full lifecycle of project cloud infrastructure across multiple classification domains
  • Provide direct support to the DevOps team for managing application deployments
  • Assist with development of network designs and management of firewall rules
